DUCSU leaders to take charge on 23 March

The newly elected Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall union leaders will take charge on 23 March.

“Reception of DUCSU and hall union executive committees will also be held on Saturday,” said a DU press release.

A programme will be organised at 11:00am in this regard, the release said.

The decision was taken at a provost committee meeting held at DU vice chancellor’s residence on Monday with DU VC professor Akhtaruzzaman in the chair.

DU Pro-VC (administration) professor Muhammad Samad and provosts of the halls were also present.

A total of 25 leaders of DUCSU and 234 hall union representatives were elected after a gap of 28 years. The last DUCSU election was held in 1990
