How to apply to Class-XI

As the results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations have just been published, it is now time for the successful students to get enrolled in Class-XI in colleges of their choice.

The online application process for admission into Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) classes under 2019-20 academic sessions is expected to start on 12 May, Sunday, according to a notice of the education ministry.
The following is a guideline for applying to Class-XI online.

First step: A mobile phone with Teletalk SIM

Second step: Write as SMS: CAD<space> College EIIN <space> first letter of desired group<space> first 3 letters of your board<space> SSC roll number<space> passing year of SSC/equivalent exam<space> name of desired shift<space> version <space> quota send to 16222.
Group: S= Science, H=Humanities, B=Business Studies, E= Home Economics, I= Islamic Studies.
Shift: M= Morning Shift, D= Day Shift, E= Evening shift, N= If there is no shift
Version: B= Bangla, E= English
Quota: F= Freedom Fighter, ED= Children Quota, SQ= Special Quota

Third step: After completing application, you will get a return SMS with PIN number.

Fourth step: Pay the charge and then write as SMS:
CAD<space>YES<space>PIN Number<space>Contact Number and send to 16222.

Fifth step: You will get a confirmation SMS mentioning candidate name and track number.

The online fee is Tk 150 and students can choose between five to ten colleges.
The institutions will then be chosen for the students in accordance with their result and choice.
The results will be published on 10 June and then applications will be taken again in two more phases.
Classes will start on 1 July.

This year, more than 2.1 million students took part in the SSC examinations under eight general, one madrasa, and one technical education board.
As many as 1,749,165 students passed the exams, while 104,761 students secured highest grade GPA-5.
