Online application for Class-XI admission in progress

Online application for admission into class XI in the government and private colleges began on Sunday, 12 May.

"The aspirants, who passed the SSC and equivalent exam this year, can apply
online and via text messages from Teletalk numbers for admission," Inter-
Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Education Board chairman
Ziaul Haque told BSS.

As per the admission policy, the applications will be received in three
phases, he said, adding that in the first step, students can apply till 23 May
while the result of the first phase will be published on 10 June.

In the second phase, the aspirants can apply on 19 and 20 June. The results of the second phase will be published on 21 June, Ziaul added. The students can apply online on 24 June in the last phase while the results will be published on 25 June.

The students have to get admission in their selected colleges within 27 to 30 June while classes will start from 1 July.

Each student can submit application to minimum five colleges and maximum 10 colleges. The online application fee is Tk150 for online while Tk 120 for application via SMS from mobile.

The admission into class XI will be completed on the basis of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results.
