Admission tests for the first year honours under 2019-20 academic session of Rajshahi University (RU) will be held between 20 and 22 October.

The decision was taken in the meeting of admission committee held with the committee president and RU vice-chancellor professor Abdus Sobhan in the chair on Wednesday.

Students adviser professor Laila Arjuman Banu told the journalists that there will be no scope of appearing in the test for the second time this year.

She said submission of primary application forms will start from 3 September and it will continue till 12 September while the final forms can be submitted from 17 to 30 September.

This time, the admission test will be held in three units as per the meeting decision.

Faculties of humanities, social science and Law and Institute of Education and Research will remain under ‘A’ unit while Business Studies Faculty and Institute of Business Administration under ‘B’ unit and faculties of science, Life and Earth Science and agriculture under ‘C’ unit.

A student can appear in the admission test for only one unit. A total of 32,000 students will be allowed to sit for final test in each of the three units to be held in both written and MCQ systems, professor Banu added.
