Tarunno celebrates 10th founding anniversary at IU

Tarunno, a voluntary organisation of Islamic University, celebrated its 10th founding anniversary on the campus in Kushtia on Monday, reports UNB.
A daylong programme, including a procession, discussion and cake cutting, was held on the occasion.
Organisation members brought out a procession from IU Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium in the afternoon. The procession ended at the same place after parading through the campus.
An anniversary cake was cut and a discussion was held after that. Tarunno's advisers and IU syndicate member M Mahbubar Rahman and IU Law department professor M Shahjahan Mondol, its president Sheikh Raihan Uddin and general secretary Sadia Afrin Khan were present on the occasion. Tarunno has been running social welfare activities on the campus since 2009.
