Dhaka University admission test: Key dates and deadlines

The online application for admission into the Dhaka University under the academic session of 2019-20 has already started.

Along with the aforementioned two key dates, the admission seekers should keep in mind a few more dates regarding the admission test.

Save the dates:

Last date of cash deposit: 28 August 2019 (4:00pm)

‘Ka’ unit’s admission test: 20 September (Friday)

Admit card collection: From 3 September

The entrance test will begin at 10:00am and will end at 11:30am (50 minutes for the MCQs and 40 minutes for the written test)

‘Kha’ unit’s admission test: 21 September (Saturday)

Admit card collection: From 3 September

The entrance test will begin at 10:00am and will end at 11:30am (90 minutes)

‘Ga’ unit’s admission test: 13 September (Friday)

The entrance test will begin at 10:00am and will end at 11:30am (90 minutes)

‘Gha’ unit’s admission test: 27 September (Friday)

The entrance test will begin at 10:00am and will end at 11:30am (90 minutes)

‘Cha’ unit’s general knowledge test: 14 September (Saturday)

The entrance test will begin at 10:00am and will continue till 11:00am. (60 minutes)

‘Cha’ unit’s drawing test: 28 September (Saturday)

The entrance test will begin at 10:00 to be continued till 11:30am. (90 minutes)

This year, for the first time, the DU authorities have brought about changes in the admission test pattern. As per the new rules, the entrance test will be held splitting the question paper into two - written and MCQs. The admission seekers will have to take a written test on short questions for 45 marks along with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 75 separately. The student will be given 90 minutes -- 50 minutes for MCQs and 40 minutes for written test.
