DU hosts workshop on IQAC

A day-long workshop on Instruction to Institutional Quality Assurance Cell was held on Sunday at Dhaka University (DU).

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-DU) organised the workshop at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban where DU vice-chancellor (VC) Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated it.

Deans, chairmen, directors and senior professors of different faculties, departments and institutes of DU participated in the workshop.

Pro-VC (Academic) Nasreen Ahmad, additional directors of IQAC M Amir Hossain and Syed Shahrier Rahman addressed the inaugural session with director of IQAC-DU Md Rahmat Ullah in the chair.

Professor Akhtaruzzaman urged the teachers to work together to enhance the quality of education and research at the university.

He stressed the need for development of curriculum, teaching-learning method and evaluation system at DU to improve ranking among the universities in the world.
