IU gets two new hall provosts

Professor Reba Mondol of the department of law and professor Rabiul Islam of the department of Bangla have been appointed as the provosts of Begum Khaleda Zia Hall and Sheikh Russel Hall of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia respectively, reports UNB.

IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif told UNB on Sunday that IU vice-chancellor professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed them to the posts for the next one year.

They replaced professor Ashok Kumar Chakrabarty and professor Miah M Rashiduzzaman respectively.
