IU admission tests begin tomorrow
The admission tests of the first year honours courses under 2019-120 academic session of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia will begin on Monday, reports UNB.
IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif told UNB that a total of 61,942 applicants will fight for 2,305 seats this year in the entry tests that will continue till Wednesday.
According to the schedule, the admission test of A and C Units under Theology and Business Administration faculties will be held on Monday while that B Unit under Humanities and Social Science faculty on Tuesday and the D Unit admission test under Applied Science and Technology faculty will be held on Wednesday.
The entry tests would be held in four shifts in a day. The first shift will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am while the second shift from 11:30am to 12:30pm, third shift from 2:00pm to 3:00pm and the fourth shift from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, the acting registrar said.
Necessary security measures have been taken to hold the admission tests in a peaceful atmosphere, IU proctor professor Paresh Chandra Barman said.
