EWU gets new pro-VC, VC reappointed

MM Shahidul Hassan has been reappointed as vice chancellor of East West University (EWU) while Muhammad Z Mamun made new pro-vice chancellor of the university.

President of Bangladesh and the chancellor of the university, Abdul Hamid, has approved these appointments, says a press release.

VC Hassan has been teaching for more than four decades and pro-VC Mamun has been teaching for more than 3 decades.

Mamun previously served as the director of Dhaka University’s Institute of Business Administration (IBA).

With their appointment, EWU has completed the appointment of all the three positions of VC, pro-VC and treasurer by the president Abdul Hamid, the press release adds.
