2 Bangladeshis receive Germany's Young Polymer Scientists award

Three students including two Bangladeshis have been awarded the Young Polymer Scientist Scholarship of Martin Luther University in Germany this year.

Among the awardees Sharmin Ritu graduated in applied food and nutrition from Islamic University in Kushtia while Abir Talukder graduated in leather technology from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET).

They are doing a postgraduate course in polymer material science at the research-oriented German university in Halle and Wittenberg.

The scholarship, offered to post-graduate level students, include a certificate and 150 euros per month for a year.

The internationally 412th ranked university awards highly qualified international students each year. It teaches courses in German as well as in English.
