3 killed in Barguna RAB ‘gunfight’

Three alleged pirates were killed in a reported gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Patharghata upazila of Barguna on Wednesday morning.

An official of RAB-8 confirmed this to Prothom Alo this morning.

Another official of the elite force said three people of Munna gang were killed in the gunfight with RAB in Patharghata on Wednesday morning.

Patharghata police officer-in-charge Nazrul Islam said, “I have no idea about when the gunfight began, but that’s over now.”
