Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route resumed on Monday morning after two hours of disruption caused by dense fog, reports news agency UNB.

Mahiuddin Russel, manager of BIWTA’s Aricha station, said they kept suspended ferry service on the route from 7:00am to 9:10am due to blurred visibility caused by dense fog.

Earlier, ferry services on the route was suspended around 7:00am as thick fog enveloped the area.

The obstacle left five ferries stranded at Paturia while six at Daulatdia ghats.

Besides, four ferries - Khan Jahan Ali, Kopoti, Hasna Hena and Shapla Shaluk - were stranded in the mid-river due to poor visibility caused by the fog, he said.
