Bullet-hit body recovered in Meherpur

Bullet-hit body of a man was found near BRAC office in Meherpur town early Wednesday.

The deceased is Sardar Khademul, 28, an accused of several murder cases, police said.

Police were informed about a shootout between two groups of robber at around 4:00am near BRAC office and they spotted Khademul’s bullet-hit body on the road, according to police.

Police has recovered a one-shooter gun, three bombs and some local weapons from the spot.

Khademul was involved in many incidents of robbery and several murders including a painter, said, Meherpur Sadar police station officer-in-charge Rabiul Islam.
