10 drug traders jailed in Cumilla

A mobile court on Saturday sentenced 10 drug traders to different terms of imprisonment in Cumilla, reports UNB.

A team of Kotwali Police in a drive arrested Pakhi Begum, 35, Liton Miah, 40, Selim, 38, Asma Begum, 55, Aradhan Begum, 55 and Sayed, 30 from different dens of drug traders in the city in the morning.

Later, a mobile court sentenced them to different jail term.

Besides, four drug traders- Dulal Hossain, 38, Omar Faruk, 30, Mahamudul Hasan, 38 and Foyez, 25- were sentenced to different terms of jail by a mobile court in Chandina upazila.

Meanwhile, a team of police arrested female drug trader Ruby Akhter, 45, from Muradnagar upazila.
