Bangladeshi jailed for overstaying in Brunei

A Bangladeshi man was sentenced to five months in jail for overstaying a total of 494 days in Brunei, according to the Borneo Bulletin.

The convicted is Kabiul Alam, 59.

According to the Brunei media, the immigration prosecutor of the country, Adi Yusra bin Haji Adanan, informed the court that defendant was arrested during an inspection at a rented house in Kampong Selayun.
