You had an accident in the set a few days back. How are you now?

I fell down and injured my waist during the shooting of an advertisement. Doctors have suggested medication and bed rest. But now I am fine and back to business.

Tell us about your role in Qabil Kohkafi.

I play the role of a cranky, ill-tempered aunt in the series. To tell the truth, I am very much dependant on the director. After every shot, I keep asking him if it was good enough, or how I can do better.

You have acted in several TV series. What do you think about the storyline of the plays nowadays?

The stories are all same in most of our TV plays. They have no plot and are unnecessarily long. I think, viewers find it very annoying. They want to see a good story. As an actress I always talk to the director before working in any play. The plot and the characters should make sense.

You have acted in a play for the Valentines Day, is that true?

Well, yes. I have acted in a TV play directed by Azizul Hakim. Channel i will air it on the Valentines Day. Besides I have acted in another play titled 'Dugdugi' directed by Masud Sezan. It will be aired soon as well.
