Posters of political parties have almost enveloped the historic Mir Jumla gate at Doel Chattar, Dhaka. The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha declared the gate, built by the then subedar Mir Jumla for the demarcation of Dhaka in 1660-1663, as a national heritage.
