Bangladesh reached the final of the AFC U-14 Girls Regional (South and Central) Championship crushing hosts Tajikistan by 9-1 goals in the semifinal at Aviator Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Saturday, reports news agency UNB.
In the semifinal, defending champion Bangladesh dominated the first half by 6-0 goals.
Tahura Khatun and Monika Chakma struck hattricks scoring three goals each and Anuching Mogini scored twice while Akhi Khatun added another one for the winners.
Tahura scored in the 9th, 14th and 70th minutes while Manika netted in the 10th 44th and 57th minutes. Mogini struck in the 8th and 13th minutes while Akhi scored in the 61st minute.
Nulufar scored the consolation goal for Tajikistan in the 58th minute.
To defend the title, Bangladesh will play the final either against Iran or India at the same venue on Sunday.
Bangladesh reached the final with an unbeaten record as they defeated Nepal by 9-0 and India by 3-1 goals in the Group-B matches.
