Annual research conference held at SUST

The fifth annual research conference of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) began on Sunday at the mini auditorium of the university.

Professor Abdul Mannan, chairman of the University Grants Commission, inaugurated the programme presided over by professor Farid Uddin, vice-chancellor of the university.

For significant contributions in research Mohammad Yonus, professor of the Department of Chemistry and Shah Mohammad Atikul Haq, assistant professor of the Department of Sociology were awarded Vice-Chancellor Award at the inaugural ceremony.
