103 people detained in Khulna

Police, in special drives, detained 103 people, including drug dealers, from different areas of the district between 8am on Monday to 8am on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Additional police superintendent Anisur Rahman, said 66 people, including 11 drug dealers, were detained under nine police stations in the district.

Altogether 1,280 pieces of yaba pills, a pistol, a motorcycle and 12 grams of marijuana were also seized from them, said the police official.

Khulna Metropolitan Police additional deputy commissioner Sheikh Moniruzzaman Mithu said police detained 37 people, including six drug traders, along with yaba pills and hemps from eight police stations in the city.
