158 stranded Bangladeshis return from Dubai
A special flight of US-Bangla Airlines has brought back 158 Bangladeshi nationals who were stranded in Dubai due to flight suspensions for COVID-19 outbreak, UNB reports.
The flight landed at Shahjalal International Airport at 7:13am.
US-Bangla Airlines operated a special flight with Boeing 737-800 aircraft under the supervision of Bangladesh Air Force Welfare Trust to facilitate the repatriation of Bangladeshi nationals stranded in Dubai, said a press release.
Every passenger from Dubai was required to travel with a Coronavirus negative certificate and to carry two pairs of disposable gloves and a mask.
A large number of Bangladeshis have been stranded in various cities in the UAE for more than three months due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
