2 additional secretaries get promotion

The government has promoted two additional secretaries to the rank of secretary and given them new postings, reports news agency UNB.

The public administration ministry issued a notification on Tuesday in this regard.

Md Selim Reza, director general of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), has been made expatriates' welfare and overseas employment secretary while Rajshahi divisional commissioner Md Nur-ur Rahman made Bangladesh Tariff Commission chairman.
