3 killed as train rams utility vehicle in Natore
Three women were killed and seven people injured as a train rammed a human hauler (Nosimon) on Yasinpur level crossing in Bagatipara upazila of Natore on Saturday.
The deceased were Julekha Begum, Sundiri Begum and Sajeda Begum.
Fire service and local people said Rajshahi-bound 'Barendra Express' train from Chilahati crashed into the utility vehicle when it was passing the unmanned level crossing at about 12:30pm, leaving the trio dead on the spot.
The injured passengers were admitted to sadar hospital.
The accident took place when the human hauler passengers were going to Tekerpara in Bagatipara upazila from Paikerdol village in sadar upazila.
