37th BCS: 113 more recruited for non-cadre posts

Some 113 applicants have been recruited for non-cadre posts from 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) at a meeting on Thursday took this decision.

According to PSC, 15 candidates have been recruited as upazila election commission officers (class-1) while 98 job seekers have been recruited as class 2 officers.

These officers will be posted in different government offices including assistant food inspectors, assistant information officers and protocol officers.

So far a total of 692 candidates have been appointed as class one officers and 98 as class 2 officers from the 37th BCS.

A total of 3,454 were kept waiting for recruitment in the non-cadre posts from the 37th BCS. The candidates would be recruited subject to the vacancy of posts.

Some 4,768 candidates passed in the written and viva voce examinations in 37th BCS. A total of 1,314 candidates were recommended for the recruitment in the cadre posts.
