6 changes at DIG level police

Six Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of police have been transferred and posted on Wednesday.

According to the order of the president, the changes were made through a notification signed by deputy commissioner of Police-1, Dhananjay Kumar Das, public service department of the home affairs ministry, says UNB.

DIG of police headquarters AKM Shahidur Rahman was transferred to Bangladesh Police Telecom & Information Management (T & IM) while T and IM DIG Barrister Md. Harun-ur-Rashid was transferred to police headquarters; RAB Director Khandaker Lutful Kabir was promoted to DIG of anti-terrorism unit while anti-terrorism unit's Mohammad Monirul Islam to additional DMP Commissioner; and special security and protection battalion DIG Biswas Afzal Hossain was transferred to special branch (SB) DIG while SB DIG Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan to CID's DIG.
