Abrar Murder: BUET Chhatra League leader Amit Saha held

Amit Shaha, a leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League’s BUET unit, was arrested from the city’s Sabujbagh area on Thursday over the killing of Abrar Fahad, reports UNB.

Amit is a 16th batch student of civil engineering department.

Tipped-off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area and arrested him around 11:00am, said Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) (media).

Abrar, a second year EEE student, was beaten to death on Monday reportedly by Chhatra League leaders at Sher-e-Bangla residential hall in BUET.
