Addl Attorney General MK Rahman sacked

Additional Attorney General MK Rahman was relieved of his duties on Monday.

The law ministry issued a notification in this regard upon President Abdul Hamid's consent.

An official of the ministry also confirmed Prothom Alo that the government relieved Rahman from his post by cancelling his appointment.

Rahman has also been working as the coordinator of the prosecution lawyers in the International Crimes Tribunal.

The official, however, said that the government was yet to take decision whether Rahman would be performing his duty as the prosecution panel coordinator in the International Crimes Tribunal.
