Amjad Khan Chowdhury buried

The chief executive officer of PRAN-RFL Group, Amjad Khan Chowdhury, a retired major general who died in the USA on 8 July, was laid to eternal rest on Wednesday.

He was buried at Army Graveyard at Banani at 3:30pm, said a press release.

Earlier, his namaz-e-janaza was held at the Military Museum ground after Zuhr prayers. A large number of people joined the janaza.

The PRAN-RFL Group CEO died of old-age complications in the USA on 8 July at the age of 76.

His body was brought back home from the USA on Tuesday.

Amjad Khan Chowdhury was the founder president of Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and former president of Underprivileged Children’s Education Programme (UCEP).
