Ansarullah’s ‘IT chief’ held in city

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Tuesday claimed that members of its Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit have detained suspected IT chief of the banned Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) from the capital's Bhatara area.
The DMP said this in an SMS sent to media houses.

According the text message, detaineed Ashfaq-ur-Rahman aka Ayon is an Information Technology (IT) chief of the banned organisation. He is also known as Arif and Anik, the text message added.
The DMP, however, did not disclose any details of the raid as it is set to hold a press conference at its media centre this noon over the matter.
