Arrest warrant issued for 3 BRRI officials

A Khulna court on Thursday granted an arrest warrant for three officials of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) and two others allegedly for making money from a job seeker promising false appointment letter.

The accused are Md Akkas Sardar and Md Anamul Haque, respectively manager and officer of the Genetic Resource and Seeds Division, and Md Faruk Hossain, field manager of the division, along with his wife Ruma Begum and father Harun-or-Rashid, reports UNB.
