Body of missing DBCCI president found in Buriganga

The body of Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Hassan Khaled was found at Keraniganj on Tuesday, three days after he went missing on Saturday.
The body was found floating on Buriganga river near Kholamora ghat located between Kamrangirchar and Keraniganj police station Tuesday noon.
Family members told the Prothom Alo that Khaled went out of his residence at around 8:30am that day to get some prescribed medicines.
Keraniganj model police station sub-inspector Ilias Sharif said the body was identified by the business card found with the body.
Hasan Khaled's brother Murad Hasan indentified the body as well.
On Saturday, Khaled went out of his residence around 8:30am for purchasing some prescribed medicine. He was missing since then.
His brother-in-law filed a general diary (GD) with Dhanmondi police station on Sunday.
Hasan Kahled owns two organisations, New Era Trading and Chemico Bangladesh Limited, located in the capital's Eskaton area.
He was involved in garments export and import business.
