'Boycott US, Israeli products'

Speakers on Thursday urged all to boycott the products of the US, Israel and the European countries in protest against the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

The call was made from a meeting organised by Bangladesh Shanti Parishad in front of the National Press Club.

Civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon, veteran journalist and columnist Abul Maksud, Samyabadi Dal general secretary Dilip Barua, Shanti Parishad president Mofazzal Hossain Paltu and Communist Party of Bangladesh president Mujahidul Islam Selim, among others, spoke at the programme.

Speakers alleged that Israel is carrying out the barbaric act of killings in Palestine at the behest of the US.

They also urged all to be untied and register their protest against the Israeli offensive in Gaza.
