Comilla-Noakhali train services resume
Train services on the Comilla-Noakhali route was restored after a two and a half hours halt on Saturday.
Laksam railway station master Didarul Alam said five wheels of a bogie of the Noakhali-bound ’Samatat Express’ veered off the track at the entry point of the Laksam-Noakhali route at Laksham junction at about 7:30pm, halting train movement on the route.
No one was inured in the incident.
A salvage train went to the spot and cleared the track around 10 pm, said the station master.
