Couple killed in Savar gas cylinder blast

A couple was killed and four members of the family were injured as a gas cylinder exploded in a house at Bhabalpur village in Savar upazila early Saturday.

The deceased could not be identified yet.

Police said fire spread in the house after a gas cylinder at the kitchen went off around 3:30am, leaving the couple dead on the spot and four others injured.

The injured were taken to Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.
