Drive against casinos to continue: Home minister

Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Sunday said the drive against militancy, casino and narcotics will continue, reports news agency UNB.

“Prime minister Sheikh Hasina wants to establish good governance in the country. Those involved in tender manipulation and casino business will be brought to book,” the minister said while talking to reporters after inaugurating DMC Apparels of ‘Arunima Group’ in Ashulia Pukurpar area.

“Those involved in terrorism and corruption must face action. No one will be spared. Those amassed illegal wealth are also being brought under the ambit of law,” he said.

Mentioning that Bangladesh now has become the role model under the leadership of the prime minister, Asaduzzaman, said, “The law-and-order situation in the country is now stable and terrorists will be uprooted from this society.”
