Engr Khaled Mahmood made new PDB chairman

Engineer Khaled Mahmood has been appointed as the new chairman of state-owned Power Development Board (PDB).
Khaled has already taken over the charge from his predecessor engineer Shamsul Hasan Mia who went on retirement on expiry of his job tenure. 
Prior to this new responsibility, he had been serving as member (generation) of the PDB.
Born in 1958 in Mymensingh district, Khaled obtained his engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and joined PDB on 11 August in 1981 as assistant engineer and served the organisation on various capacities.
