Exam to be cancelled, if leak proved: Nahid

The SSC math exam of Dhaka Board will be cancelled if the authorities find evidence of math question paper leakage in investigation.
Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid told this to Prothom Alo on Monday.
“The BG Press, the biggest source of leaking questions, has been made leak-proof. But now some teachers are allegedly sending question papers out of examination centres right before examinations,” said the education minister.
“…. It is being investigated. Stern action would be taken if anyone is found guilty,” the minister added.
Earlier, it was reported that the question paper of Mathematics (compulsory) of the Secondary School Certificate examination in Dhaka Board was leaked on Sunday.
Copies of the question paper received from various sources prior to the examination were found similar to the original questionnaire.
Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka, examination controller Tapan Kumar Sarkar said the copy of Mathematics question paper handed over to him by a journalist in the morning was same to the question paper served to the students in the examination.
