Female cop found dead in Mymemsingh

Police recovered the body of a policewoman from Uttara Police Lines area in Mymensingh on Friday afternoon, reports UNB.

The deceased is constable Sweety Akher, 22. She was attached to Mymensingh police lines.

On information, police recovered the body from her house around 5pm, said Mahmudul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kotwali model police station.
Later, the body was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, police arrested constable Hafizur Rahman, the husband of Sweety, the OC added.
