A fire broke out at a foam factory in the capital’s North Badda area on Friday evening, reports UNB.

"Seven firefighting units brought the blaze under control around 9:00pm," fire service control room official Forhadul Alam told UNB.

The fire started at 7:50pm, the official said, adding that the factory was in a tin-shed building at Satarkul.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
