Former Jhenaidah MP Shahidul Islam Master dies

Former BNP lawmaker from Jhenaidah-3 constituency Shahidul Islam Master died of cancer on Thursday at capital’s Gastro Liver Hospital. He was 67.
Shahidul, a four-time lawmaker and president of Jhenaidah Thana BNP, left behind wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.

His first namaz-e-janaza will be held tonight in front of BNP’s Naya Paltan office in the capital.

BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia expressed profound shock at the death of Shahidul and conveyed deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
