Four bodies recovered in Savar, Ashulia

Police recovered four bodies from different areas of Savar Ashulia, rpeorts UNB.

Among the deceased two were identified as Apon, 30, a transgender, of Radio Colony area, and garments worker Ajufa, 22, of East Rajashon.

Police sources said Apon of transgender community was strangled to death over some longstanding enmity in Radio Colony area.

Police arrested two members of the LGBT community in the area, suspecting their involvement.

On the other hand, police recovered the body of the other garments worker, Ajufa, from the quarter she rented in East Rajashon area.

Police recovered the hanging body of a 20-year girl from Niribili area and a hanging body of 29-year-old boy from Jamgora area in Ashulia.

All the bodies were sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital for autopsies.

Kalaria Hossain, inspector, Savar Police Station, said separate cases were filed over the incidents.
