Hasan Azizul Haque gets threat

Eminent litterateur Hasan Azizul Haque on Sunday received a threat through a mobile call from an unknown caller.
Confirming the matter, Hasan Azizul Haque told Prothom Alo that he received a phone call at around 4:30pm, that warned him ‘to get ready (for facing anything)’ if he does not change himself.
“‘Will you be able to change yourself?’ the unknown voice said. In reply, I said, ‘Why shall I change myself at this age?’ ‘Be ready (to face anything) if you cannot do so. We are coming’,” the litterateur told Prothom Alo.
Talking about the phone number, Hasan Azizul Haque said that he does not know who made the phone call. The call did not show any number and displayed as ‘unknown’.
When asked about the threat, Rajshahi University proctor Tariqul Islam said, “We have already informed police about the threat and asked them to take necessary steps in this regard.”
Motihar police station officer-in-charge Humayun Kabir said, “We’ll take necessary measures after talking with sir (Hasan Azizul Haque).
However, Hasan Azizul Haque said he would file a general diary (GD) with the police station tomorrow (Monday).
Earlier, professor emeritus Anisuzzaman got a similar kind of threat in a text message on Tuesday afternoon.
