Jainal Abedin new Rajuk chairman

Additional secretary GM Jainal Abedin Bhuiyan, who is now on post-retirement leave (PRL), has been made Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) chairman for a one-year period on contractual basis.

The public administration ministry issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday.

The circular said GM Jainal Abedin Bhuiyan will take charge as the Rajuk chairman on 21 April. He will replace Nurul Huda as the Rajuk chairman.

Nurul Huda was made Rajuk chairman on 23 March 2009 for one year on contractual basis.

Later, the government extended his tenure until March this year.
