Kids killed in Rangpur wall collapse

Two minor boys were killed as a wall of an abandoned house collapsed on them at Alamnagar Robertsonganj area in Rangpur on Friday morning, reports UNB news agency.

The deceased are Ayat, 4, son of Bappi Hossain and his cousin Arnab, 7, son of Ruhul Amin in the area.

ABM Jahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kotwali police station, said a portion of a wall of the abandoned house fell on the two children while they were playing there around 11:00am, leaving them critically injured.

The injured were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead.

A case was filed in this connection.
