Kurmitola General Hospital catches fire

A fire broke at Kurmitola General Hospital in the city’s Cantonment area on Tuesday night, reports news agency UNB.

According to Fire Service and Civil Defense control room, the fire broke out at the 4th floor of the 10-storey building of the hospital around 9:30pm.

On information, nine fire-fighting units rushed there and are trying to douse the blaze.

It is not still clear what caused the fire.
