Mashrafe to launch ‘Narail Express’ foundation

Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has announced that he will launch a foundation named ‘Narail Express’ for ensuring development of his home district.

The Bangladesh skipper, dubbed as ‘Narail Express’ by his fans, came up with the declaration at a press conference at his home town Narail on Sunday.

A procession named ‘Run For Narail’ will be held on Monday with a view to establishing the foundation. 

Mashrafe said the foundation will be established to achieve six goals -- to offer modern facilities for citizens, specialised education system, to help start the ethical and humane education system, to create employment opportunity, to increase cultural activities, to provide sports training, to set up a tourism hub in Chitra river, and to transform the Narail town into an ICT and environment friendly one.   

Among others, Olympic Association’s deputy general secretary Ashikur Rahman, was present during the press statement.
