Nation to sing national anthem simultaneously on 26 Mar

The national anthem 'Amar Sonar Bangla' will be sung simultaneously across the country on the Independence Day on 26 March, reports UNB.

Educational institutions run by Bangladesh missions abroad will join t with those in Bangladesh if possible and others will sing it at a convenient time on the day, said a PID handout on Tuesday.

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina will lead the nation in singing the national anthem at the main programme at 'Jatiya Shishu Kishore Samabesh', scheduled to be held at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital on the day.

Besides, awards will be distributed among the winning teams of the 'Singing of National Anthem in Right Tune' competition held between 10 and 18 March.
