Nepal clinch Bangabandhu Gold Cup title

Nepal won the Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football Tournament-2016 title, beating Bahrain 3-0 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital Dhaka on Friday.

It is for the first time in 23 years, Himalayan country Nepal clinched any international title.

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the championship trophy and medals to the winning team Nepal.

She also handed over a cheque of 50,000 US dollars to the winning team.
