Police search BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office

Police on Saturday morning launched a search at BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in Dhaka.

BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shamsuddin Didar said police began to search at around 8:00am.

Another member of the BNP chairperson's press wing, Shairul Kabir Khan, earlier said additional police force was deployed around BNP chairperson’s office in the morning.

A senior police officer of Gulshan division, seeking anonymity, said 15 to 20 police members were deployed in front of the office. However, he did not disclose why the drive was being conducted.
